Ford is a hit with millennials

The Ford Motor Co. is a hit with millennial shoppers. According to national sales data, the Ford Explorer is the most popular SUV among drivers 25 to 34 years old. The 2016 Ford Escape and Ford Edge are also on pace to break sales records this year thanks to millennial buyers.
“It’s an example of need-based growth,” said Erich Merkle, Ford U.S. sales analyst. “Millennials have begun forming families and those families are growing – in terms of the number of children as well as the size of those children. Explorer provides the space those families need today and tomorrow, while maintaining the image they want to project.”

Data shows that as millennials move out of the city and into the suburbs, the need for SUVS is growing. Millennials are choosing Fords because they provide them with everything they want and need in a car. With innovative Ford SYNC technology, Ford vehicles easily pair with your smartphone to make hands-free phone calls and text messages. Ford SYNC also allows you to play the songs and podcasts stored on your phone over the speakers.

Ford SUVS equipped with EcoBoost engines give the brand some of the top fuel economy figures in the industry while still providing you with plenty of power. Plus Fords are environmentally friendly models. For instance, Ford uses recycled materials on their seats and interior dash trims.

Ford also provides customers with latest innovative technology options like active park assist, rear view cameras, navigation, forward collision warning, lane keep assistance and so much more. Plus Ford continues to invest in jobs and facilities right here in Northeast Ohio.
