Review: 2017 Ford Focus

The 2017 Ford Focus is a leader in technology and fuel economy. This year's model is offered with up to 40 highway miles per gallon. Technology available on the new Focus brings extra safety and entertainment options to your daily commutes. At Waikem Ford, the all-new Focus is available at a great low price, so choose a family-run business and put this Focus in your driveway.
What's New?
The Focus design and engineering carry over from the 2016 model. There is a new SEL package, with 17-inch alloy wheels, fog lights and a power moonroof. The Focus also has a new White Gold exterior paint offer.

40 Miles Per Gallon
The Focus has an optional 1.0L EcoBoost engine with optional Auto Start Stop technology. With this configuration, you get up to 40 MPG on the highway. The 1.0L engine has been nationally recognized for its technology and economy. So while you'll save money with the great low payment, you also save on fuel each week.
The standard Focus engine is a 2.0L Flex Fuel engine, with an EPA estimated 38 highway miles per gallon with automatic transmission.
If performance is even more important, the Focus has a hatchback option, with the choice of a more powerful 2.0 or 2.3L EcoBoost engine. The 2.0L hatch gets 252 horsepower, while the 2.3L on the RS Hatch reaches an amazing 350 horsepower!

Loaded with tech
The 2017 Ford Focus is a tech marvel. It comes with the recently introduced Ford SYNC 3 system. Ford has improved its SYNC system with better voice activation and an easier to use touch screen.
Ford SYNC includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. With Apple Car Play and Android Auto, you bring the power of your phone to your car. There's Siri and Google voice activation to make phone calls, listen to voice mails, send texts and have text messages recorded over the speakers.
Use your Apple or Google Maps apps for turn-by-turn directions, traffic conditions and estimated travel times. You can also access the popular apps from your phone and stream the songs and podcasts from your phone over the speakers.
The Focus has two USB ports to charge a Smartphone or USB player and also stream the songs and podcasts from your phone over the speakers.
Safety Tech
First off, every Focus comes standard with a backup camera. As you climb the trims, add driver-assist technologies like blind-spot monitoring, reverse sensing system, lane keeping systems and active park assist.
These systems make the daily travel much easier. They'll monitor the blind spot, making it easier to change lanes. It also watches everything happening around you. The vehicle may even park itself once you find the right spot.

Beautiful Style
The Focus is a beauty with European style and advanced design. Up front the Focus has that wide-open trapezoid style grille, with thin headlights and an aggressive design. It has 15 different color choices, depending on the trim. Plus the Focus has 11 different wheel designs. Like every Ford model, there are a number of packages to get exactly the Focus design you want.
Inside the Focus is available in cloth or leather, with available soft-touch accents and a level of quality you'd expect on a luxury model.
Comfort Features
The new Focus has available options like heated seats, sunroof, dual front climate controls, keyless push button ignition and more.
