Safe and Smart Package
The available Safe and Smart Package on the 2019 Ford Escape is what it says it is – Safe and Smart.
On SE trims and above, this package includes:
  • BLIS (Blind Spot Information System)
  • Lane-Keeping System
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Forward Collision Warning,
  • Auto high-beam headlamps
  • Auto rain sensing wipers
  • Panel roof
With Adaptive Cruise Control, you set the speed and the distance between you and the vehicles around you. When traffic ahead slows down, your Escape automatically slows down. When the traffic speeds up, the same thing happens.
Forward collision warning with brake support can alert you to a potential collision with the vehicle ahead. If you don’t react in time, the brakes will precharge and increase sensitivity, providing full responsiveness when you do brake.
Lane-Keeping System vibrates the steering wheel when you drift too close to a lane marker. It can even sway you back into your lane.
BLIS uses radar to identify a vehicle detected in your blind spot and alerts you with an indicator light in the appropriate exterior mirror.

Ford SYNC 3 with Alexa
Ford SYNC 3 now includes an app to tap in to your Amazon Alexa. By using the Ford+Alexa app and connecting via available SYNC 3 AppLink, you’ll have access to voice navigation, traffic information, over 30,000 skills, Amazon Prime shopping and can even control your supported smart home devices. Stay connected, no matter where you are.
